Let me begin by saying I am by no means an adequate writer to offer a review but I felt the need to do so in support of such a brave undertaking Ms Gray has put forth. This book openly offers the authors most personal, intimate moments and her paths of survival. This journal can be read quickly, used as a self help, or affirm one’s beliefs. For those that may have been hesitant to read because of her dedication to God I would still recommend the read for the message of hope, perseverance, and strength to endure.
The beginning of her story though delicately handled, did trigger emotions and personal memories that were difficult but her journey of survival and how she overcame her childhood to become the Woman and Mother she is now is worth continuing the read.
Her poetry spoke to me and has been highlighted to be referenced for future motivational purposes in my own journey.
The read ended far too quickly for me and though I will re-read I am in hopes of future publications.
